the big day

Well, I am leaving on a jet plane, as John Denver put it. Today is the big day. I say goodbye to the ones that are so precious to me. It is the day we knew was coming, but wished for just a few more days. First Sergeant told all the married soldiers to make the most out of the last couple months, and not have any regrets when we get down range. I feel like I have done that. I do not have any regrets and have made the most out of my time with my family. The next post will be from Kuwait.

  2. Spc Warren,

I see that you are very passionate about your calling as a soldier. This is very encouraging to me, as i am too. I want you to know that the Soldier's Baptist Church is praying for all our deployed soldier's. May God's richest blessing be upon you and your family. May you grow closer to the Lord through it all. We are very proud to have you on our team and for the sacrifices you have made to serve this great nation of ours.

2 Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

    Godspeed

  3. Kevin, it is with tears I am posting this to you. I love you and am very proud of you. I know I said this to you on Facebook...but...I I am VERY proud and I love you. I promise to pray for you everyday. We WILL take care of your family while you are away. You take care of yourself and "keep your head down"...LOL...that's what I always told Bill!
I also pray you will use this time to grow closer to God and will be able to be a good witness for Him!
Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
    God bless and keep you!
