preparing for deployment

Well, I am sitting right at 3 weeks until I deploy to Iraq. The closer it gets the more it consumes my thoughts. While I hate to leave my family for a year, I am excited about going. Getting ready for church this morning. Trying to make the most out of my last few weeks with my family.

    I think I know how you are feeling I believe I would be excited but at the same tine a little nervous. I am proud of you and your desire to serve our great country. Holly and the boys will be in good hands, (The Lord's) and we will do all we can to help make the time go quickly for you and them.
